Class recordings

Every live class is recorded so students who miss a session can catch up. The recording captures the teacher's screen, the voice of everyone who speaks, the video of students with their camera on, and the Zoom chat.

You may keep your camera off for the whole class. You may change your display name to your first name only, and you may ask the teacher not to call you by name while a session is recorded.

Who can see recordings

Class recordings are available only to students of the same cohort, the teacher, and BisaSpeak staff, through the learning portal. They are never published and never used for promotion.

Recordings may not be downloaded, screen-recorded, clipped, shared or uploaded anywhere by students. Breaking this rule can lead to removal from the course without a refund.

Class recordings stay available until 6 months after the course ends, then they are deleted.

Homework recordings

Voice or video recordings you submit as homework can be seen only by the marking teacher and BisaSpeak staff. Voice feedback from the teacher is visible only in your account.

Homework recordings are kept until 12 months after the course ends, then deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion once your homework has been marked.

Testimonials, photos and screenshots for promotion

We do not use your name, face, voice, messages or results in promotion without separate consent from you. Consent can be given by WhatsApp message or email, and we keep a record of it.

When you consent you can choose to show only your first name, no photo, or no city. We publish testimonials exactly as you gave them.

You may withdraw consent at any time via halo@bisaspeak.com. We remove the material from the site and the channels we control within 14 days. Material already spread beyond our control, for example reshared by others, may be impossible for us to recall.

Teacher recordings and materials

Teacher recordings, slides and other materials belong to BisaSpeak and are for your personal use while you study. Do not distribute them, including clips or screenshots, without written permission from BisaSpeak.

Rights and contact

To request a copy or deletion of, or ask about, a recording that features you, contact halo@bisaspeak.com from your account email or WhatsApp from your account number. We respond within 7 working days at most. Your full rights are in the Privacy Policy.
