Terms & Conditions

By ticking the consent box when you register, create an account, or buy a BisaSpeak course, you agree to these terms together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Recording & Media Policy, and Community Guidelines. We keep them as short and clear as we can.
About BisaSpeak
BisaSpeak is an online English course operating in Indonesia. Official contacts: halo@bisaspeak.com and the WhatsApp number shown on this site.
Questions, complaints and disputes can be raised through those contacts. We respond within 7 working days at most and try to settle things amicably first.
The service
One course package contains 12 live Zoom classes (up to 90 minutes each), interactive study guides, learning games, homework with teacher feedback, a class WhatsApp group, class recordings for anyone who misses a session, and a certificate of completion at the end.
The class schedule is published in the learning portal and on the courses page. Each cohort has the limited capacity shown when you register.
Age and parental consent
You must be 18 or older to register on your own behalf. Students under 18 may take the course if a parent or guardian agrees and takes responsibility for the account and its payment.
By ticking the consent box at signup you declare that you are 18 or older, or that your parent or guardian has consented to this registration. We may ask the parent or guardian to confirm, and may close an account created without the required consent.
Your account
One account per student. Accounts, Zoom links and materials may not be shared with anyone else. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Make sure your registered name and contact details are correct: certificates are printed with the account name and all notices go to those contacts.
Registration and payment
The price that applies is the price shown when you pay. Promotional prices, including the launch price, apply to the cohort named and may change for later cohorts.
Your seat is confirmed once we verify your payment. For manual payments (bank transfer, QRIS, e-wallets) verification is usually done within 1 working day of receiving your proof of payment.
Refunds are covered on the Refund Policy page.
Schedule changes and cancellations by us
We may move a class for reasonable causes, such as teacher illness or a technical fault. We notify you by WhatsApp or email as early as we can, and provide a recording where possible.
A teacher may be replaced by another teacher of equivalent qualification. Any class we cancel and do not reschedule is refunded pro-rata from your course price.
If a cohort is cancelled before its first class, for example because too few students enrolled, you may choose to move to the next cohort or receive a full refund.
Class recordings
Live classes are recorded so students who miss a session can catch up. Your voice, video and chat messages may be captured. You may keep your camera off, and you may ask not to be named while a session is recorded.
Recordings are for your cohort only and may not be downloaded, shared or uploaded anywhere. Details are in the Recording & Media Policy.
Materials and copyright
All materials (guides, slides, audio, games, recordings) belong to BisaSpeak and are for your personal use while you study. Do not copy, redistribute or resell them.
The homework and recordings you submit remain yours. You give BisaSpeak permission to store and mark them as part of the course.
Conduct
Classes and WhatsApp groups must stay friendly places. The full rules are in the Community Guidelines. We may issue warnings and, for serious or repeated breaches, remove a student from the course without a refund.
Certificate
A certificate of completion is issued in the account name once your course ends and can be verified through the link on it. It certifies completion of a BisaSpeak course; it is not a state-issued diploma or competency certificate.
Communications
We contact you by WhatsApp and email about your class, schedule and payment. Promotional messages are sent only with your consent and can be stopped at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
Limits of liability and force majeure
We commit to teaching as well as we can, but we do not promise specific results; language progress also depends on your practice. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course.
We are not liable for disruptions beyond our control, such as power cuts, internet outages, or Zoom and WhatsApp service failures. A class disrupted this way is rescheduled or provided as a recording.
Your rights as a consumer under Indonesia's Consumer Protection Law remain in force and are not reduced by these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A new version applies to purchases made after the update date. Existing purchases keep the terms in force when you bought, unless the change favours students.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If there is a dispute, contact us first so it can be settled by agreement. If no agreement is reached, it is resolved through the Consumer Dispute Settlement Body (BPSK) or the competent district court in Indonesia.
